Hey! I'm Alexa!

I spent the last 11 years in the health & wellness industry, building brands into household names. Now, I bring that knowledge to wellness entrepreneurs through courses, 1:1 coaching, and The Friday Society Podcast.

ASK ME ANYTHING

Hi everyone!!

Updated Jan 31, 11:00am EST

I wasn’t exactly sure how to start this blog post, because this is such a strange situation. Around 5pm Friday night (1/28), I got a flurry of texts and emails asking me if I knew that TalentHack was going under. There were a few emails attached, stating from (now ex) TalentHack employees, that the CEO had decided to sunset the ‘TalentHack product’.

As a refresher, TalentHack was one of the leading companies in 2020’s race to create booking software for Fitness Professionals. I, along with many other experts in the health & wellness field, have done seminars for them, trainings for their community, and loved working with their team.

You might have seen recently that TalentHack recently raised a $17M Series A round, just two months ago. This is a bit incongruent to closing down just two months later, but I’m curious to see what unfolds over the next few days. Both the TalentHack and CEO’s instagram accounts have been silent, as of Jan 29, 10:00am EST.

So, is TalentHack out of business? I actually have zero idea, but emails that went around to clients and customers of the platform say yes. Even as someone who’s podcast is sponsored by them, I haven’t been told directly yet by anyone.

If you’re a FitPro who is on TalentHack, and you’re not sure what this means for your business or you’re feeling lost, I am working diligently this weekend on bringing you other options to host your classes. For now, platforms I love are:

For the community aspect – stay tuned here. My marketing course, Five Weeks to Waitlisted, has a weekly community call where we go through all aspects of the course and apply it directly to your business. It’s $297 but I am happy to extend a discount to anyone affected by this, just shoot me a DM and I’ll send you a link.

If you have any suggestions on other software companies or communities you love for your business, shoot me an email or DM and I’ll add!

Xoxo,

Alexa

Thank you for sharing all of the information you have right now, Alexa. I have a very small client base and class offerings on Talent Hack. When I got the email last night and couldn’t find any other information on social media since their accounts have been quiet, it felt really shady. I knew they’d raised a lot of money two months ago and I was signed up for one of their webinars earlier this week that was abruptly cancelled an hour before it was scheduled to begin. I only recently started using TH in the late summer and the whole situation just seems fishy.
