ASK ME ANYTHING

On this week’s episode of the podcast, I had such an amazing conversation with Charlotte Muller, founder of Breathe Strength Wellness. What I love most about incredible entrepreneurs like Charlotte is that she is so candid about the opportunities, as well as the challenges, to owning a successful wellness company.

In this episode, we discuss business, identity, sustainability, and what it truly means to build something that supports your life instead of consuming it. If you know me, you know that I am really intentional about work-life balance.

Charlotte Muller & Breathe Strength Wellness

Charlotte Muller is the kind of entrepreneur who bridges two worlds beautifully. Through Breathe Strength Wellness, she supports women in reconnecting to their bodies through breathwork and strength-based practices (which I love). But she is also incredibly strategic and thoughtful when it comes to business structure, especially memberships and using social media data.

Profitable Memberships

Our conversation really centered around profitable memberships and how to use social media stats in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming. FYI – in the month of March in The Friday Society Membership we are focusing on Profitable Memberships so check it out!

As someone who teaches marketing to small businesses, especially in the health and wellness space, I’m constantly talking about sustainability and retention. Charlotte echoed so much of what I believe: that a membership is not just a recurring payment model, it’s a community builder. This is one of the best ways to connect with your community authentically.

One of my favorite parts of our conversation was when we talked about retention. So many small business owners launch memberships because they want reoccurring income, but they don’t focus on the experience from the customers eyes. Charlotte shared how she thinks about including massive amounts of a value inside Breathe Strength Wellness and how she evaluates what members are truly engaging with.

How to Use Social Media Stats to Grow your Business

We also dug into social media metrics, and I loved how practical this part of the conversation felt. Charlotte spoke about moving beyond vanity metrics and focusing on the data that actually supports business growth. Seriously, her presence of TikTok is so good and some of her reels I still leverage to this day!

For small businesses, it’s easy to get caught up in follower count. But what really matters is engagement quality, saves, shares, and how your content moves someone closer to trust. Engagement means purchasing from you.

What stood out to me is how Charlotte uses her analytics to build her yoga sequencing membership. She started to look at patterns and what reels were being shared. She noticed what was working and created an incredibly profitable revenue steam from it!

Finding Balance

We also talked about capacity, which feels especially relevant for so many of us. Membership models can be incredible, but only if they support your lifestyle. Charlotte shared openly about refining her offer over time. She didn’t launch a perfect membership from day one (and neither did I). She adjusted, simplified, and strengthened overtime.

Charlotte does not operate from urgency. She operates from grounded decision-making. As someone who coaches women in marketing strategy, I think that approach is amazing and sometimes hard to achieve. Sustainable marketing is regulated marketing.

Final Thoughts

If you are building a wellness brand, whether that’s breathwork, strength training, herbalism, holistic nutrition, or any service-based healing modality, this conversation was amazing. Charlotte is proof that you can build your business into a thriving brand without sacrificing integrity.

If you are navigating memberships, wondering how to make them more profitable, or feeling overwhelmed by social media stats the this podcast episode is a must listen!

I am so grateful for Charlotte and her incredible business. She is such an inspiration and I absolutely love watching her business thrive! This one is a must listen.
