Hey everyone! I am so excited to bring you our episode with Eizabeth Endres and Dale Borchiver from Sweats and the City! Elizabeth and Dale are two of the sweetest, most professional influencers I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

Elizabeth and Dale started Sweats and the City in 2016, and have become one of the most trusted resources in fitness since. We’ve had the pleasure of working together a few times before on client projects, and each time, they deliver truly consistent and great results – highly recommend for anyone who is looking to explore influencer partnerships.

We chatted about the fear of building your entire product on one platform – the girls have over 106K followers on Instagram and base most of their product placements there, launching a platform, and the pressure to become fitness instructors themselves.

Elizabeth tells us, “We absolutely get nervous about Instagram and the fact that our whole business and baby is on it – and I think that this diversification of our community base – a big part of it – had to do with not attaching ourselves to Instagram and creating this new platform, which is Sweat with Sweats.”

DON’T PUT ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET.

Some Advice:

If you’re in the health & wellness field and are reading this, one of the biggest pieces of advice I’ll give you is this: To build your fitness community, use Instagram and social media as brand awareness, but ALWAYS have a plan in place to follow up with these leads on a platform that you own. Platforms you own include your own domain, blog, or email list – something that if social were to go down tomorrow, you’d have a way to follow up.

For more tips and to learn about how Elizaneth and Dale built such an amazing community, check out our episode here!
