July 12, 2023

Hey! I'm Alexa!

I spent the last 11 years in the health & wellness industry, building brands into household names. Now, I bring that knowledge to wellness entrepreneurs through courses, 1:1 coaching, and The Friday Society Podcast.

ASK ME ANYTHING

We are back with another episode of Ask Me Anything! I took a much needed R&R vacation the week of July 4th, and of course, a new social media platforms goes live aka Instagram Threads.

I quickly jumped on Instagram’s Threads platform and so far I am really enjoying it! It definitely has that start-up feel where everyone is trying to figure it out and having fun with their marketing.

Instagram Threads

A few recommendations for Threads is that if you are considering using it in the future, go ahead and secure your brand handle. I’ve already heard of a few stories where someone’s handle has been taken. Also, I’m a fan of being visible across various platforms. Forever Friday Co uses Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and now Threads for social media content. I consider this more visibility, SEO, and also a way to engage with new communities and users.

Also, beware of deleting your Threads account because this will also delete your Instagram account! Hopefully this is a bug they will fix asap. If you decide Threads is no longer a platform you wish to use you can 1) delete any Threads you have posed or 2) deactivate your profile (not delete).

Have fun with this as you are starting off and decide how often it feels aligned to post. In the podcast, I talk about brand awareness opportunities so check out the entire episode.

Engaging Non-Purchasers

The second topic I get into is your business strategy when engaging with non-purchasers. FAQ’s, videos of your services, and clear COA’s are a good place to start. If no-one is engaging with you, then really think about your lead magnets (check out the ‘Lead Magnet’ webinar on the membership), and voice notes. Even think about how you personally interact with brands and what motivates you to purchase.

Listen for more detail and leave a comment below if you have thoughts on these topics!
